Chairperson Welcome:
Neil Theodoreson opened the meeting and welcomed everyone present.
Minutes from last meeting:
Minutes were read and approved by all. Treasures Report: £5,858.84
Matters Arising:
Nicola Henderson-Begg and especially Morvan Gabriel are still to be invited to a youth Club night.
Leaders Day Out:
Adam Scotson is still looking into various options such as outdoor activities at Mains of Mulben.
Christmas Celidh:
All money raised at the last Christmas celidh is being donated to the hall for the resurfacing of the car park. The local press to be informed and asked to take pictures of the presentation of the cheque on a youth club night.
Hall Fees:
Have been calculated and paid.
Donations:
The £80 Mrs. Grey raised at the Drummuir Games is being donated to Keith Cancer Link. Adeline Reid to be phoned and made aware of this.
New Key:
A new key has also been cut and given to Shona Cockill. Bonfire: The bonfire went very well with lots of helpers on the night.
Christmas Celidh:
This is to be held on the 23rd of December 2005 Sharon Collins is to book the band Cimeron, Neil Theodoreson is to sort out the license and the bar from Essons in Huntly, all juniors are to be let in free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult, Ewen MacDonald is to make the posters and tickets, tickets to be priced at £2.50 for a child and £5.00 for an adult, William McIntosh to Book the bouncers from Elgin, Ewan MacDonald to look in to the price of mince pies from Tesco, William McIntosh to paint the big white sign and put it opposite the Bunkhouse, Christmas tree and decorations to be put up.
Leaders Night
Out: William McIntosh suggested The Grouse Inn bring a Party to a Party. Ewen MacDonald to see how many people want to go and William McIntosh is looking in to getting tickets.

Disclosure Forms:
Shona Cockill is to find out which leaders from the junior youth club leaders need disclosure forms and get their names and addresses.
Carol Singing:
Is going ahead this year on the 16th of December, all children attending must be accompanied by an adult. Neil Theodoreson to phone John Seivwright to find out what time we should be at the British Legion for singing there. Members of both the junior and senior youth club are to be asked to play their violins.

Minutes were read and approved by all.
Matters Arising:
Nicola Henderson-Begg and especially Morvan Gabriel are still to be invited to a youth club night.
Police verification forms have been completed and returned.
Letter to be sent to Drummuir Castle to request the donation of play equipment that is presently not being used.
The minutes of the youth club meeting are. still being posted on the Drummuir web site. Emma Morrison to be asked if she could pass a set of minutes onto David McWilliam.
Woodland:
A grant has been applied for and is still being processed.
Leaders night out:
Adam Scotson is looking into various options such as outdoor activities at Mains of Mulben.
Christmas Celidh:

Games:
These went very well with a good turn out and making a profit of £473.58. Donations of £20's each are to be sent to the Scouts for the loan of their bouncy castle and to the Red Cross first aiders for attending. (Just in case!!)
Donations:
£1000 of youth club funds shall be given to Drummuir and Botriphnie Community Trust funds to help with the hall renovations. Mrs Gray raised £80 at the games, which is to be donated to Keith Cancer Link.
Hall Fees:
The Youth Club's hall rental fees have still to be calculated.
Concern over Tuck Shop:
At least one responsible person should be in charge at all times and new opening and closing times of the Tuck Shop will be put in place.

Went very well good time by all £253 was made and will be given once the hail is in the community hands.

A great night had by all taking in £600 profit.
Games:
On The 3rd of July. Tae-kwon-do coming William McIntosh seeing to this, Football to be put in school park Allan Cruickshank in charge. Matthew Holland to make signs, face painting, bungee run, coconut shy, see if Moray Mountain bikers will come and arrange a few huskies etc, Ewen MacDonald to do posters to be out at all three stations and out in coming events in the Banffshire Herald. Robert Cockill to see if Archery is coming. Shona Cockill to see if Yvonne Stewart can get burgers (120) and rolls and ask school if they would like a stall. Richard Henderson to see about tents from Loch Park also if they want a stall, KC.R. John Seivwright (fortune teller), ask Jonathon if he would like to help out. Fiona Morrison to organise a cake and candy, see if W.R.I. will do teas, lucky lollies, ice cream (3-4 boxes), Neil Theodoreson to organise a bouncy castle Kevin Fife if he wants a stall, First Aid Claire Morrison and Sarah Henderson to do paint the bin also to get a phone number and Shona Cockill will contact someone. Races for small children etc. Tickets 50p each 5 for a £1 burgers £1 and £1.20 with cheese Mandy Gordon to do onions.
Fundraising/Ceilidh:
Neil Theodoreson to see James Mark, Dave McWilliam to see if some of the leaders would like to help out at an hall event.

Correspondence:
Letter from Kim Paterson regarding a sports contact booklet, which she is compiling, to be handed out to the kids in the local area so they know what's clubs are in the local area.
Woodland:
Date to be confirmed and kept to in the near future Ewen MacDonald to see to this. Grant not returned on what we are allowed to do.
Drummuir Games:
Day went well with everybody enjoying them selves made about £100.
Leaders Night Out:
Neil Theodoreson to visit the mains of Mulben to see what activities they have to offer. Enquire about other venues also.
Camping at Loch Park:
Camping on the 11`h of September costing £5 meeting at Loch Park at 12.30 p.m. various activities through the day with a BBQ about 5 p.m. with the juniors coming to join us for the BBQ. Yvonne Stewart to get 80 burgers and 100 rolls. Ewen MacDonald to get orange and blackcurrant cordial, bacon, yoghurt, cheese slices, tomato ketchup, marshmallows, plastic cups and spoons and kitchen roll.

Fochabers Football club wanting to hold a dance in the hall and if the youth club helps out then we share the profits youth club needs to sell about 50 tickets. They will supply bouncers etc.
Parents of juniors to go through to the kitchen for a coffee or tea so game run smoother. Ask Allan Cruickshank if he can get shortbread.
All equipment to be tidied away at the end of the night a balcony being left in a mess.

Moray Council to pay for insurance and to see if we can apply for grants when we organise a trip with the youth club, good planning is needed for this.
Belgium scouts in July for one week on going.
Neil Theodoreson said that it was a good thing that the community will hopefully own the village hall in the near future.

Woodland: Ongoing work to start soon. Better communication so more people get involved.
Junior Trip: A trip to the rainbow castle and ice-skating at Moray Leisure Centre around the beginning of April, Fiona Morrison and Shona Cockill to see to this. Price £2,50 each child Claire Morrison, Sarah Henderson and Christopher Williamson only seniors allowed to go as they went to the carol singing. Richard Henderson to organise a bus.
Ceilidh: On the 2nd of April 2004, band booked, Neil Theodoreson to see about drinks licence, drink to be obtained from Essons in Huntly, Michael Shearey to organise floats, Ewen MacDonald, tickets 50 adults and 50 juniors to start with also make posters. Posters to request if any one would like to donate raffle prizes. Licence to run from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. Flyers to be handed out at youth club to request raffles and letters to be sent to all local businesses for the raffle donations. Prices adult £4 child £2. 18 being the age you're allowed to buy alcohol from the bar. Stewards organised around 10 available. Letters to be sent to businesses in Drummuir, J & B, Estate. Neil Donald, Stainless Steel and Gordon Stuart. Ewen MacDonald.

There may be money for a paid leader Neil Theodoreson to put William McIntosh forward to see if this could become reality.
Notice to be displayed on front door saying something like only adults allowed in are working leaders and adults with young children for insurance purposes.

Juniors who stay after 9 p.m. at seniors must have permission for this to happen. Juniors who attend seniors may stay till the end if their parents are supervision seniors etc. If a parent wants their child to stay till the end of seniors and also go to juniors they must become a senior leader.
Consent forms to include more information about trips.

Bonfire 8th of November: Went very well with about £100 being made. 150 burgers and no sausages for next year. A professional job by all.

All children taking part in any activities out with the youth club must have a consent form even if parents are travelling with them.
All activities out with youth club times to put up on notice boards and a copy sent to the school for their notice boards.
Moray council to pay for insurance and Neil Theodoreson to see about a grant for the hall rent.
Belgium scouts in July for one week to work on paths. Youth club to host them doing a BBQ or a ceilidh or something similar.

Held in Drummuir Village Hall on 16th Sept. 2003.Present: Ewen MacDonald, Neil Theodoreson, Shona Cockill. Fiona Morrison, and Michael & Sue Shearey, Richard Henderson, Adam Scotson, Mandy Gordon, Steve Smith, William McIntosh.

Chairperson Welcome: Neil Theodoreson opened the meeting and welcomed everyone present.
Minutes from Last Meeting: Minutes were read and approved by all.
Treasures Report: Youth club still had a healthy balance with 4315.07 in the bank to date.

Seniors Membership: £3 member entry 80p non member £1.20
Juniors Membership: £1 member entry 80p
If a junior goes to seniors then they pay £2 extra for membership and no extra entry fee with them only staying to 9 o'clock.

Still need Police Verification forms from people for insurance.

Grants ongoing. Mower grant to applied for by community woodland whith administration by the youth club. Apply for a mower and a strimmer.
Heater for computer cupboard and varnishing ongoing a piano heater Steve Smith suggested.
Sports activities council to send representatives on coaching days then we be able to send our representatives one leader from juniors and seniors.

Work to start in October and a better record or work done to be kept with more photos needed.
