Finals of the Drummuir Indoor Bowling Club open pairs (sponsored by the Deli Shop, Keith) were held in Drummuir Hall on the 29th November 2003. Final Night Results were as follows -

Semi-Final 1 M.Nicol I.Duncan (Keith B.C.) 5 V 12 (Grange B.C.) J.Watt S.Watt.

Semi-Final 2 S.Dunn A.Davidson (Drum B.C.) 12 V 12 (Drum B.C.) B.Bell D.Bell.

Final J.Watt S.Watt (Grange B.C.) 8 V 12 (Drummuir B.C.) B.Bell D.Bell.

Winners from an entry of 72 pairs were B.Bell D.Bell (Drummuir B.C.)

This was another triumph for a Drummuir Team but shock news was about to be announced to the strongest bowling club in the Banffshire Indoor Bowling Association (BIBA). It has been made public that from August 2004 access keys for the Drummuir Hall will have to be handed in to the Estate Office and the Hall may not be available for community use from that date. That may result in the Drummuir Bowling Club having to be wound up unless a new deal can be made with the owners. Alternatively, this group of powerful and skilful players might have to find a new venue since playing together is their greatest strength.

The BIBA League Trophy has been won by Drummuir 9 times, of which 7 were in the last 7 consecutive years. This record is likely to stand for a long time, and they are now going for 8 in a row.

Club Players from Drummuir Bowling Club have won Open tournaments in halls and bowling clubs all around the NorthEast. A total of over 110 have been recorded to date, and still counting. Drummuir Bowling Team, a name always there or there about!
