PIANO FOR SALE

WOULD ANYONE BE INTERESTED IN BUYING THE PIANO FROM THE HALL?

THE PIANO IS NOT BEING USED IN THE HALL AND AS IT IS NOT EASILY STORED IT WAS DECIDED IT WAS PROBABLY BEST TO SELL IT.

IT’S HISTORY IS UNKNOWN BUT IT IS POSSIBLE THAT IT WAS PURCHASED WHEN THE HALL WAS OPENED IN 1900.

IT BEARS THE NAME OF “J MARR WOOD & SON, PIANOFORTE MAKERS TO HM THE QUEEN & HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES, ABERDEEN.”

IT WOULD REQUIRE SOME REPAIR AND TUNING.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT:-

Help!: We are always looking for more photographs to add to the web site. If you have any, or know where we might find some, please let us know. Any such photographs will be scanned into the computer and returned promptly. As well as putting them on the web site we would like to copy them at high resolution onto CDs so that if anyone wants a copy of a set of photographs on CD or as prints we will be able to provide them at a small cost to cover materials. Note that the cost of copying a few hundred photographs to a CD is about 50p, which is about the same as the cost of printing a single A5 (8" x 6") copy on photographic paper.

We will endeavour to provide a caption naming all the people and places appearing in the photographs but this will often be beyond our capabilities so any help would be much appreciated.
